Thank you for choosing Braids By Marie Jay! To secure your appointment, a non-refundable $30 deposit is required. Deposits may be sent via CashApp or Zelle to 240-564-9761. The deposit will be deducted from your remaining balance. Appointments that are not secured with a deposit will be canceled.

To maintain a safe environment and prevent accidental injuries:

• Remain Still During Service: Please avoid sudden movements while your stylist is using sharp or heated tools, including scissors, needles, razors, flat irons, and hot combs.
• Hands-Off Guideline: For your safety, please keep your hands away from your hair and the styling area unless your stylist gives you specific instructions.

Your comfort and safety are important to us. Please inform your stylist before your appointment if you have:

• Known allergies or sensitivities to hair products.
• Scalp tenderness, irritation, or an existing skin condition.

• Wellness Requirement: If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment.
• Sanitation Practices: All tools, chairs, and workstations are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between clients to maintain proper hygiene standards.
• Guest Policy: To maintain a professional and focused environment, additional guests are not permitted unless prior approval has been given.

We are committed to providing quality services and beautiful results. If you have any concerns regarding your hairstyle or service, please contact us within 72 hours (3 days) of your appointment so we can properly review the matter.

• No Refund Policy: All services provided by Braids By Marie Jay are non-refundable.
• Adjustment Policy: If a correction or modification is requested after the service, an additional fee may apply. The fee will depend on the hairstyle and the amount of work required.

• Human Hair & Pricing: An additional charge applies when 100% human hair is requested. Pricing varies according to hair length and type. Please confirm the exact price with your stylist before the service begins.
• Hair Preparation: For a quicker and smoother appointment, clients are encouraged to arrive with their hair washed and blow-dried. A wash and blow-dry service is available for $20 if needed.
• Payment: Cash is the preferred payment method for the remaining balance after the deposit.
• Satisfaction Guarantee: Please inspect your hairstyle before leaving. If you are dissatisfied with the finished style, please notify us before leaving so we can determine the appropriate adjustment.
• Complaints & Fixes: Any concerns regarding your hairstyle must be reported within one week of the appointment to be considered for a complimentary correction.
• Refund Policy: Braids By Marie Jay does not offer refunds.
